The Vision
Territorial Ekklesia
Not just a church in the city.A church for the city.
Ekklesia is the word the New Testament uses for the church. In the ancient world it described a governing assembly, a group of citizens given responsibility for the wellbeing of their city. When Jesus used that word, He was describing a people sent to carry His authority into real places.
That is how we see Zion City. A people positioned to pray, worship, teach the Word, and carry Kingdom authority in Lancaster and beyond. We pray for our neighborhoods, serve our schools, honor our leaders, and believe God for lasting change in the streets we live on.
